Slingshot Direct Heat Old School Pork Butt!
3 hours or so in and it’s looking great!
Salt and pepper with fat cap down to start, flipped fat cap up and dusted with seconds later of sweet rub just now.
Super easy fire management today and it smells good!
Can’t wait for hour 5 when I start mopping that Butt!

How much can you actually cook on one of these? I grab a buffet pan and just shows you.
The Mini Smokeslinger runs a 27” by 22- 1/2” grate.
The Full Size Smokeslinger runs 46” by 22-1/2”.

Both have two grate levels, so the Full Size takes two full pans up top and four across both layers, with room to scoot to three comfortably.

That’s how I run six briskets, split across the levels.

So it comes down to your cooks and your space.

The Mini fits a tighter spot, the Full Size gives you the big batch room.
