2026 Jacob Hines Memorial Scholarship Winner

Isabella Suits

Isabella Suits of Will Point FFA, daughter of Gregory and Tiffany Suits, is actively involved in leadership and livestock production within her agricultural community. She serves as Chapter President of Wills Point FFA, Second Vice President of Van Zandt County 4-H, and is a Director for the Junior Beefmaster Breeders Association. Isabella shows breeding heifers, market steers and swine. She has earned senior showmanship honors and national livestock recognition through consistent hard work and dedication. Through these experiences, she has developed responsibility, perseverance, and a strong appreciation for the values agriculture instills. Isabella plans to pursue a degree in agricultural communications, combining her passion for agriculture and leadership to advocate for the livestock industry and encourage future generations to stay involved in agricultural education and production.

2026 Jacob Hines Memorial Scholarship Winner

Mason Quinn

Mason Quinn is the son of Amy and David Quinn of Kaufman Texas. He attends Kaufman high school and has represented Kaufman FFA as both a junior and senior member beginning in the sixth grade. Mason has participated in various activities with Kaufman FFA, including showing Livestock, shooting archery, competing on the Livestock Judging team, and multiple Ag Mechanics projects. He actively attends and participates in chapter meetings, community service, and supports the Kaufman FFA Alumni group, YGB Livestock Camps and volunteers for several jackpots. Mason is a very active in his church youth group, his family farm, and has completed his life Merit in the Boy Scouts of America. He plans to attend Tarleton State University to pursue a degree in Agribusiness and Finance with the ambition of starting his own business in agriculture in the future.

2026 Jacob Hines Memorial Scholarship Winner

Vanessa Guzman

Vanessa Guzman is a member of the Mildred FFA and a prior member of the Mildred 4-H chapter. She began her FFA career in 2021 as an eighth grader at Mildred Junior High/ High School with market rabbits and LDE’s, CDE’s and SAE’s. The next year Vanessa was ready for something more challenging in the Livestock world, her swine project. Vanessa has served as FFA Chapter Treasure, Secretary, Vice President, and President her senior year. She was also a District Officer for the Sandy Land district and received her Lone Star Degree as a junior. Vanessa is very active in UIL speaking events, including Congressional, CX and Extemporaneous Speaking and Ag Sales. She has also served in numerous leadership roles through varsity cheer and Spanish club and is a member of the National Honor Society. Vanessa plans on going to Texas Tech university to study agricultural law. Vanessa is the daughter of Carrie Vance and Vicente Guzman.
