Getting ready for what promises to be the best one yet.
Mark your calendars for Nov 8/9 for the 5th Annual Forever A Champion Jacob Hines Memorial Show.

Entries will be on Showman App.
Check in will be from 6:30 to 8:30 and Showmanship will start at 9am.

Pigs: We split the Cross division and added Light Cross and Dark Cross.

Katie Jouett

Katie Jouett is a member of Kaufman County 4H and Kaufman FFA. She began her journey when she was eight years old showing goats. Since that time she has also participated in showing lambs, breeding goats, shooting sports, public speaking, ag mechanics, livestock judging, livestock skillathon, and serve served as the TYLA (Texas Youth Livestock Ambassador) . She is currently serving as the 4-H District IV President and State Council Member. She plans to study ag science at Texas Tech in the fall and hopes to eventually be in the dental field. Katie currently attends Kaufman high school and is the daughter of Josh and Amanda Jouett.

Kadance Glosson

Kadance Glosson represents the Royce City FFA chapter and Colin County 4H. Cadence shows livestock and competes in competitive shooting competitions. Her show career began with one goat at the age of six and continued in Hallsville FFA chapter where she eventually moved to Dorber lambs. She has participated in Career and Leadership Development Events and held leadership roles, including chapter reporter for FFA and various positions in 4H. She received her Lone Star Legree and earned the Lamb Production Award for four years. She is a member of the National Honor Society, the powerlifting manager, and is part of Diva Wow (a womenโ€™s gun club). This year she was named โ€œTop Dogโ€ and received the Beacon Award. Kadance plans to study agriculture economics and business at Texas Tech to become an agribusiness attorney. She is the daughter of Josh and Stacy Glosson.

Quinn Hartley

Quinn Hartley is the son of Patrick and Brandy Hartley, and he resides in Kaufman County where he attends Kaufman high school. Growing up as the son of an ag teacher, Quinn has always been very involved in his local FFA Chapter and the livestock industry. Quinnโ€˜s passion for showing, and judging livestock began in the third grade and has continued through his senior year. He has shown goats, lambs, pigs, and ag mechanics. He has served as the Kaufman FFA President and District I First Vice President, and received the FFA Lone Star Degree. He has also participated in athletics and is a member of the National Honor Society. Quinn plans to attend Butler Community College in El Dorado, Kansas, where he will continue to hone his skills by participating on the livestock judging team while pursuing a degree in animal science. He hopes to one day become an industry leader in animal reproduction.

Cole Coufal

Cole Coufal from Freestone County is an active member of the 4H and FFA. He currently serves as Freestone County 4-H President, the District 8 First Vice Chairman, and represents District 8 4-H on the State 4-H Council. Cole also serves as the Treasurer for the Fairfield FFA chapter, is Senior Class President, and the Vice President of the FHS Beta Club. Cole enjoys competitively showing sheep and goats at competitions across Texas. He works hard and knows that the life lessons from the barn or priceless. His dedication to leadership and agriculture has driven him to pursue a future in animal science. Cole plans to attend Texas A&M university, where he aims to expand his knowledge and continue his involvement in agriculture, with a future career in animal reproduction. Cole is the son of Dustin and Brigit Coufal.

Newt Richmond

Newt Richmond has lived in Kaufman Texas his whole life. His parents, Cody and Jamie Richmond, have always been his biggest supporters. Growing up in Kaufman has given me a strong sense of community and belonging. I attend Kaufman high school where I be balance academics, athletics, and a strong passion for showing cattle. Iโ€™ve always been a member of Kaufman FFA, where I have learned valuable life lessons. After school, I plan to attend the Fire Academy to pursue career in firefighting. This path excites me because it allows me to serve and protect my community. After gaining experience in the field, my goal is to start my own business, combining my skills and entrepreneurial spirit. My journey so far has been shaped by hard work and determination. I look forward to the new challenges and opportunities that lie ahead.
