Carta Coffee Merchants

Carta Coffee Merchants Coffee Lovers! A new Kona coffee farm and brand founded by a w**emaker. Specializing in small batch, hand-harvested, 100% Kona coffee. From our farm to your cup.

What does it take to start a coffee farm and brand from the ground up? Meet Scott Burr, a third generation w**emaker and enologist who left CA w**e country and a 20-year career advising w**eries for Kona, HI to rehabilitate an overgrown 6-acre coffee farm and begin the journey to make the highest quality, single origin, hand harvested 100% Kona Coffee possible. From w**e country to coffee country. Carta Coffee Merchants was born out of passion for the land, the island life and an exceptional cup of coffee. Founder, Scott Burr, grew up on a farm in the Central Valley, the agricultural heart of Northern California. Throughout his childhood, cultivated a deep appreciation for the land and the care that went into running the family vineyard. A lover of quality coffee, Scott gained a taste for the rich Kona coffee on the island, and it led him to learn more about the region and what makes that special Kona blend. In 2015 Scott turned his passion for the region and its coffee into Carta Coffee Company, bringing together his love for the land and the allure of farming the fertile Hawaiian coastline.
