Sweetie Pies Homestead is back at the farmers market this morning, and I’ve got some homemade goodness ready to go!

Pies, pound cake, and all that sweet Southern goodness you know I love bringing to the table. Whether you need something for your Saturday morning, a little treat for later, or just an excuse to eat pie for breakfast (I’m not judging 😂), come on by!

Next stop… the 23rd Annual Pioneer Days at the Chisholm Trail Museum in Cleburne, Tx.

Sweetie Pies Homestead will be setting up for our FIRST TWO-DAY EVENT on November 13th & 14th at the Chisholm Trail Outdoor Museum!

We’ll be bringing along some homemade goodies, plenty of Southern sweetness, and a little pie love just in time for Thanksgiving! So if you’re out enjoying Pioneer Days, come find us and grab yourself something sweet.

We’re headed back to the Burleson Farmers Market this week, and we’re bringing whole pies with us!

We’ll have a couple sitting on the table for y’all to grab, but if you want to make sure you get your hands on a whole pie, go ahead and fill out our preorder form!

⚠️ Only 10 preorder spots available this week! Once they’re filled, they’re filled!

Preorders close Thursday at noon, so don’t wait until the last minute!

And on the 7th day, the Lord rested… and this Keene Pie Lady might need to take a page outta His book! 😂🙏🥧

Y’all, the last couple of weeks have been busy, and I mean the kind of busy you pray for!

Between farmers markets, festivals, baking orders, and coming home to bake more pies for the next day, we have been going nonstop! And now we’re getting to be part of weddings this season, too! There is something mighty special about knowing a little piece of Sweetie Pies Homestead gets to be part of somebody’s big day.

Sometimes I have to stop and take it all in. We moved, started building our place here, and kept pushing forward even when things felt uncertain. Now look at what the good Lord is doing!

I’m tired, y’all. But I am incredibly thankful. For every order, every opportunity, every kind word, and every person who has supported this little pie business.

I know what it means to work hard for something you love, and I sure don’t take any of this for granted.

So today, I’m counting my blessings and thanking the good Lord for keeping us busy.

Now, Lord, I sure am grateful… but I believe this here pie lady could use a nap! 🥧

Well, Burleson, y’all sure showed Sweetie Pies some love today! 🥹❤️

SOLD OUT at the Burleson Founders Day Festival!

I truly don’t even have the words to tell y’all how grateful I am. Every pie that went home with somebody, every kind word, every new face that stopped by our little booth, and every familiar face that came back to support us means more than y’all will ever know.

A small business is built one customer at a time, and days like today remind me why I keep showing up, rolling out dough, making messes in my kitchen, and putting my heart into every single pie.

A BIG thank you to the Burleson Heritage Foundation and everyone who worked behind the scenes to put on such a wonderful festival. Thank you for having us out there and giving small businesses like ours a place to share what we love! ❤️

And just when we thought we could head home, put our feet up, and rest these tired bones… We got a huge order for a cake walk tomorrow, so it was a mad dash home to get baking again!

Apparently, this Southern Pie Lady ain’t getting a day off just yet!

From the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU, Burleson. Y’all helped make today one to remember, and we sure hope to see y’all again soon!

Well, we’ve been a little quiet over here, but don’t you worry… we’ve been BUSY! 🥧

The ovens have been working, the kitchen’s been hopping, and we’ve been in FULL restock mode getting ready for TOMORROW!

Sweetie Pies Homestead is headed to the Burleson Founders Day Festival!

Whew. Took Blake to the vet this morning because this ding d**g decided to run full speed into an OPEN DRAWER. 🤦‍♀️

Somehow that little stunt left one side of his head and face swollen, so naturally Momma spent the morning freaking out. 😂

The vet checked him over and, thankfully, we’re looking at a head injury/hematoma and not something worse. He got some pain meds and we were sent home with strict instructions to keep an eye on him.

So now Blake is on couch rest, being babied, and probably wondering why we’re all making such a fuss over his brilliant decision making skills.

Nothing like a little brain hematoma to spice up a Thursday morning. 🫠

Poor sweet boy. ❤️🐾
