We love summer days when our meals consist of home grown/local ingredients. 😊🤤🍽 Last night's supper was "breakfast". We enjoyed eggs from our backyard flock (They eat our feed, of course!), potatoes and onions, amazing bacon from Wild Plum Farm who's pigs eat our feed, and a delicious peach! (The sweet onion and peach were picked up from Front Porch Farm). Eating nutritious and eating local is soooo important to us and we love when we can do that.

I gotta tell you this awesome story! 😲
Meet Clementine! 🐷She has a forever home with some farmer friends/long time customers of ours. She was born a runt, the only surviving out of the litter, and seemingly barely alive. They took her into their home, 🏡 cared for her and saved her life. She now is about to have her 2nd group of piglets. And is the mother of the majority of pigs currently on the farm. What a come back story! Clementine is living her best life!
Here she is as a piglet, nursing her first group of babies, and present day, just about ready to give birth. We sure do love a good redemption story. 🐖😊❤️🤠🥳
