I found this lady laying her 🥚 in the new bale of straw we bought for the nest boxes. Guess it goes to show that they really do like clean nests🪹 to lay their eggs. You'll also collect clean eggs, which is not a bad gig. Also, they prefer a secluded nest that is slightly above the ground. (Of course there are exceptions....birds will be birds 😆) How are your nest boxes looking?

Hey folks — this is just crazy.

You shouldn't have to question when your feed was made. It should be plain and easy to understand.

I was scrolling through a post today in a group I'm part of and just had to make a point here.
If you buy our feed from one of the stores listed below, you can get fresh Red Bridge Farm Feed Co. feed.

We make it specifically for them when they order it — it's not sitting in a warehouse waiting to ship. We don't use preservatives or mold inhibitors. When your feed is fresh, those things aren't necessary. Do you really want that going into your animals?

Next month we're publishing a new blog post specifically on how to decipher a feed label — you'll want to check it out. If nutrition matters to you, you need to go all the way down to the source.
