Baby shenanigans… little monkeys!

Monday was a day of pampering with the girls, checking out some growing baby bellies, and the first haltering for Reign.

We need to take a minute and do a bit of bragging. This blue horse came to our ranch with the future of a broodmare. She went into the trailer on her back feet at a full on lunge as a yearling, Jess did not want to bring her home… fast forward through a lot oh hours and work and here we are 7 years later with an amazing blue roan that not many would miss the chance to own. She’s an absolute gem and powerhouse all in one, but the icing on the cake are our 2 grandkids that ride her. Stetson is now heading on Sonora, and Claire is bringing home checks in Open 4D races. This mare and these kids are a force to watch out for, and her trainers and the kids coaches, well what more would you expect from parents that love their children. Sonora has not lost the future of being a broodmare though… she will continue to grow with these kids getting better all the time at her job, while a momma without her abilities raises Sonora’s offspring. Dreams do come true, it just takes lots of hard work and much dedication. We are beyond proud of our blue mare, and proud can’t describe how we feel about the jockeys… God blessed us all.
