Calving is in full swing at BUB Ranch, this cow may not possess the epd package to wow some, but we feel like she is what the Angus beef cow should be all about!! Maternal, easy fleshing, heavy milking and dragging a stomping good newborn Prosper bull calf along side!

We are grateful through the good times and the hard times. This life we live is made of many ups and downs. In the end, we do it all to glorify what the good Lord has given us!!

Our boy Chet! The little goat that could. Born with a huge disadvantage to a mom with toxemia. She was induced and delivered two of three kids alive. Mom was down for close to a week, lots of TLC , and by the Grace of God, she and the kids lived. They were premies but vigorous! Chet was our baby and spoiled rotten, he grew like crazy and ended his run at 90lbs. Olivia spent countless hours with the little guy and we all loved him right til the end, not saying a few tears were not shed (by me, lol)
Today the results came in, and he was 4th in the carcass contest, normally we would not make a big deal, but this was an achievement and our heart is in production agriculture regardless the species. A true family ranch project!
