Once racehorses, always runners. 🐎

There’s something pretty special about watching these two enjoy their retirement. No competition, no pressure, just two happy horses doing what they love.

Because sometimes the best moments come after the finish line. ❤️

Here’s to the next chapter.

I took my time driving to Keeneland last week!! I stopped to play with my camera settings, to talk to random horses and to take pictures of any and every thing…. Leaving a hungry Troy wondering what was taking me so long!!

Some are raw photos and some I played with editing!! This is where we call home!! Enjoy!!!

Around here, our models don’t get paid much. Just kisses, butt scratches, and the occasional treat. 🐴❤️

Luckily, Lauren is always happy to pay up!

Behind every great horse photo is a photographer who loves her models just as much as they love her. 📸

Just a little peace and quiet from our corner of the world. 🌳🐴

We asked Franz Josef to behave himself for five minutes. Apparently, that was asking a little too much. 😂

Never a dull moment with this guy! He’s got a big personality, a little attitude, and absolutely no plans to change.

Life at TW Farm wouldn’t be nearly as entertaining without him! 🐎

RED RAINBOW FOR THE WIN! 🏆🌈

What a day at Keeneland! Red Rainbow brought home the win yesterday in Race 2, with jockey Christian Torres aboard!

A huge congratulations to owner Novoratz Racing Stables Inc., trainer Troy Wismer, and our entire TW Farm crew! So much hard work goes into getting these horses to the winner’s circle, and days like this make it all worth it!

Another special day at Keeneland and one we’re proud to celebrate! 🐎❤️

How well do you know the horses in your barn? 🐴

We put the TW crew to the test with a little game of Name That Horse using Lauren T’s photos!

Eddie + Juan: perfect scores. Eddie said, “They’re like my kids!”
Nullah: knew his horse AND didn’t fall for our trick.
Troy: “Big To Do.”
Wrong? “Big To Do.”
Wrong again? “Big To Do.”
Eventually… BIG TO DO. 😂

Honestly, you have to respect the strategy.

Safe to say the TW crew knows their horses pretty well!
