Chick zoomies are back and the brooder is basically a tiny feathered racetrack 🐥💨
Second batch of spring birds just dropped, and we apparently chose chaos this year… 150 chicks deep 😅 Meanwhile, batch one has been promoted to “pasture supervisors,” out there peckin’, scratchin’, and judging our every move 🌱👀
Processing day is officially on the books, which means your future dinners are currently out committing grass crimes and living their best free-range lives.
If you want in on this delicious operation, we’re taking preorders for full and half shares! Stock that freezer like a responsible adult… or at least like someone who enjoys really good chicken 🍗

Well surprise — there are FIVE! 🎉🐖
Miss Lizzy was definitely holding out on me. She had me fully convinced she was done… and then two more little beans made their grand entrance! 😂

And of course, this all happened right as I started my new job — so who knows, maybe I’ll come home to another surprise this afternoon lol.

Mama and all five babies are doing great and settling in. Farm life really said “no boring days for you!”

Miss Lizzy had a long, slow labor, but we finally have babies on the ground — three little ones, each a completely different size!

Should we name them Tall, Grande, and Venti? 😂☕️
Because honestly… it fits.

Mama and babies are resting well and soaking up the warmth of the heat lamp to get through this cold snap. Proud of this tough girl!
