Have a few brood cows looking for new pastures. All have been exposed to a purebred shorthorn bull and will be preg checked in the next week. 1 has a heifer calf on their side so she could be a 3 way, once confirmed bred. Those of you who currently raise livestock or have raised them in the past know what this means.

We are still in our 2026 calving season. This is the part of farming that not many talk about. Most are so eager to glorify what we do and make it look like it is rainbows and roses. Don't get me wrong because it is a lot of the time and I absolutely love what I do, and I am pretty sure this is the path I was meant to be on.

I have had to do this more times then I would like this year. This is the part of farming that tears me apart every time. You wait all year for the next calf out of a cow that was a show heifer and has been a pet her whole life. I am sorry Charlotte... Maybe next year... We are grieving right along with you. This is, in my opinion, one of the absolute worst parts of a cow/calf operation.

We have a really cool little fall born heifer up for consideration. The older she gets the better she is getting.

She is beautiful, blue around the edges. Honestly we didn't know what we wanted to do with her. She is a keeper but we can't squeeze her into our heard this year. PLEASE MESSAGE US FOR MORE INFORMATION.
