Behind on posting pregnancy results. Of course Stevie didn’t settle but she gets one more shot since I had several others come back open. Open does have been re-bred for February kiddings.

Susan, one confirmed bred, is in standing heat today so she is also getting a second date. 🤦🏻‍♀️

Breeding plans and due dates have been updated in the pinned post above.

Whelp, I did a thing. This loud mouth keeps short cycling and I had enough of her screaming. We tossed her in with *B Azbill’s RF Fire From Heaven (David). She was bred instantly and she has indeed shut up. Wish me luck for a yearling freshener and Valentine’s Day babies 😭😭😭

(Jojo is 90lbs and measures about 7in thurl to thurl)

I love watching our “tree line” grow; Willow and her daughters all together. She was born from one of the 2 very first milkers we brought in, now out of 19 total does; 4 of them are from Willow (and 2 granddaughters!), not only are they solid does and consistent, long lactation milkers, they have the BEST personalities.

Willow 7yr
Oakley 3yr (daughters Olive and Coconut)
Tulip 2yr
Hazel 1yr
Ebony sr kid

Another year, another sigh of relief that everyone is still clean ♥️ (bucks were done this summer, also clean)

Today I’m thinking about soap scents for Christmas. For me I love the fragrance of different pines and cranberry or apple/orange during the holiday season. I personally do not care to smell like a gingerbread cookie but maybe some do? Do you want to see candles in different fragrances as well as soap? Tell me; what scents do I need for the winter seasons???

WITH HIS NEW FAMILY
It’s now September so that means Irish Valley Silver Fredric, aka Freddie, is officially searching for a new herd.

This yearling buck caught my eye last summer as a kid. His yearling FF dam was stunning, then I saw this fun pedigree. I knew he’d be a great one to work with. Even though he’s an experimental, he has the right % and conforming generations to produce American doelings.

Sire: Autumn-Acres Silver Bullet
SS: Vineyard View Gun Metal
SD: CH (pending) Autumn-Acres Spell’s Shiver

Dam: Irish Valley Feyre
DS: McQuitty-Farm Jacque Clyve (littermate brother to McQuitty-Farm Jacque Clover, 1st place 2yr old at the 2024 Nationals)
DD: Autumn-Acres Fanntastic Finish

He is up to date on cd&t vaccine, copper, and dna is already on file. Clean tested for CAE, CL, and Johnes this summer.

Looking for a quick move 4️⃣0️⃣0️⃣. 1️⃣0️⃣0️⃣ non refundable deposit to hold.

Last and well, probably is least 😝 RoughSawn Joanna, aka Jojo. I really love the depth and width this girl has but she is all sorts of buckets of parts currently. Genetics are all there to be a powerhouse of a milker which is what keeps her here for now. I do think she has a lot of potential, she just needs a little more time
