Tonight was JD's Spaghetti Bolognese. Royal treatment with a spoonful of Creme Fraiche and an egg yoke. End it with a garnish of home grown Basil. Emmantal cheese is optional.

Home grown herbs: hot pepper, Thai basil and scalion made quite the difference. And yes: culantro is A MUST! Yes CULANTRO.

Greek inspired gigantic salad.
The gyro meat from Costco is surprisingly good.
Not all Feta cheese is made equal: Make sure you're picking a lowest sodium possible.
The brand President makes one thats actually (and of course) very decent.
Yasou Greek dressing is my togo, but modify it a tad when I can.

Probably another week and we'll have our own Laratte potatoes.Looking forward to making authentic French potato puree.

I've been meaning to cook this dish for a long time and haven't had much of the time.

Sautéed BokChoy Tofu and shrimp.

Very easy and fast:

Onions, garlic, baby mushroom, green onions, baby bok choy and some shrimp (or any protein). Optional: soy sauce for brown color.

The sauce: salt, pepper, sugar, msg, cooking rice wine, corn starch.

Sauté the onions. Add all the veggies and shrimp. Once almost cooked (leaves are softer), add the sauce.
Once sauce is thick, add the diced tofu and mix. Close the lid to warm the tofu.

Serve onto a plate with white pepper cilantro, scalion and optional cut up hot peppers and enjoy.
