Check out how alfalfa may be able to help reduce the effects of fescue toxicosis and heat stress in cattle. This research is a joint effort of the University of Kentucky, Auburn University, and the USDA Agricultural Research Service. Read more about this research below and what it could mean for cattle producers.

We had a great time yesterday bringing our Kentucky Beef Network (KBN) Facilitators together for a day of learning and touring several outstanding operations. A big thank you to everyone who welcomed us into your facilities and shared your knowledge and experience with our team!

One of our greatest responsibilities as members of the cattle industry is to never stop learning. Taking time to connect with fellow facilitators, visit different operations, and see innovative practices firsthand helps us gather ideas and resources that we can take back to better serve Kentucky's cattle producers.

If you'd like to connect with your local KBN Facilitator, you can find contact information and the counties they serve here: https://www.kybeefnetwork.com/who-are-we.html
