WE’RE HIRING!
Ambitious Ales is looking to add a part-time Production Assistant to our team! The ideal candidate will have brewing industry experience, be a team player, self-sufficient, excellent communication and have a high level of attention to detail and quality.
The current role would require Monday and Tuesday availability, with a rotating day from Wednesday to Saturday.
Compensation: $20-22 per hour based on experience.
Responsibilities would include, but are not limited to:
Cleaning & Sanitation: Keg Washing, Clean-in-Place (CIP) and Sterilize-in-Place (SIP) procedures on fermentation vessels, bright tanks, hoses, and valves.
Packaging Prep & Support: Assisting the packaging team in setting up, breaking down canning and bottling lines. Along with packing off cans.
Fermentation Monitoring: Taking daily logs, tracking temperatures, and measuring gravity, pH, Dissolved Oxygen (DO), and carbonation.
Driving: Moving Product (Kegs, Ingredients, etc) between locations, events, and occasional beer festival services.
Physical Requirements: This is a highly active, physically demanding job. Cellar persons must frequently:
* Stand for up to 10 hours a day.
* Lift and move heavy materials (frequently up to 55-75 lbs and occasionally moving over 150 lbs using dollies or jacks).
* Work in extreme hot and cold environments, around wet conditions, and safely handle hazardous cleaning chemicals while wearing Proper Protective Equipment (PPE).
