We've been busy this Spring at the farm. We fertilized and prepped for the seedlings within a week. The planting went well and we completed it over a week. The row spraying will be starting and we are in our second round of mowing with this crazy weather we have had.
I've had some time to think while working on various chores, I realized this year is our 30th anniversary for Wagner Tree Farm! I was 14 years old when my dad, Jim, started the farm from an idea he had. The same age our daughter is now. It's crazy to think how we have changed and grown over the years. Here's to making many more Christmas memories in the years to come 🥂

150 seedlings planted tonight. I found a couple unique things growing.... a random asphargus and an off shoot from a previously cut tree growing. We have about 270 Fraser's to get in yet and 50 Blue Spruce. Baby steps we're almost done.

We worked hard yesterday and got about 800 of the 1,300 trees in the ground. We are interplanting at the farm, so manually planting each tree. A few action shots from yesterday. Looks like the evenings will be busy this week getting the rest of the seedlings in. Thanks for the help Angie, Jeff, Tom and Nancy! Rita was in charge of the first mowing. Big and small we fertilize all! I started the fertilizing tonight. This seems to be a busy week at the farm.
The seedlings should be arriving on Friday. We have 1,300 joining the farm. As long as the seedlings arrive, we are looking to plant on Saturday.
