At Quady Winery we make sweet, dessert and aperitif wines from varietals and in styles hard to find anywhere else. Founded in 1975, we've grown to become known as America's sweet wine experts and have received hundreds of top medals and awards because of the passion and dedication of our winemaking team. Our wines are full of character: spicy and floral, fresh, fruity, and well balanced. Founder a
nd CEO Andrew Quady made a name for himself in the '80s as the muscat king by introducing first Essensia, an Orange Muscat varietal dessert wine and then Elysium, made from Black Muscat. These two aromatic and intense wines broke new ground in the dessert wine field, and today are used behind the bar as high quality cocktail enhancers for signature cocktails. Andrew then introduced Electra, the rapidly growing first U.S. moscato; Vya Vermouth, the first premium US made vermouth; Deviation, an aromatized dessert wine; Palomino Fino, an Amontillado style Sherry; and Starboard, a port-style wine. We’ve been keeping it sweet since 1975 as the makers of America's premier sweet muscats, port-styles, and artisanal vermouth. We have a tasting room and make moscato wine slushies in the summer.
