Young Washington is worth seeing.

They came up short on winning the World Cup, but it wasn’t in vain. They won the hearts of hundreds millions of youth athletes in the largest talent pool in the world who are still deciding on which sport to play this fall and they unified a country during volatile times like only sports can. So likable, in fact, that one of the most powerful men on earth felt compelled to call the president of FIFA to have the suspension to one of their key players deferred and the best is yet to come. They’re not even hitting their peak yet they’re all young team with another four years to build chemistry and mature. My guess is that they’ll be one of the teams that no one wants to see in 2030, they’ve laid the groundwork for future World Cup success, quarterfinals or better in 2030 is written in the stars.

Recipe of the day:
Italian Diablo party dip:
- [ ] Ingredients:
- [ ] Calabrian bomba sauce, I used uncle Giuseppe’s because I like the chunky texture, but the Trader Joe’s version, is also very tasty, just not as chunky.
- [ ] Greek yogurt or sour cream(I used yogurt, because our sour cream was moldy and it came out better than I thought it would
- [ ] Fish sauce to taste I use a lot because I’m a salt fiend.
Procedure:
- [ ] Combine everything in a mixing bowl and stir until well combined transfer to d nice bowl or whatever
- [ ] Garnish with a Chiffenade of basil if you like basil Taste and adjust ingredients to taste and serve with crusty toast points or chips and enjoy POW.

All the DEI DOJ had to do was release the files, and they could have put everything to bed and ended all speculation, but here we are in summer 2026, still with no files and no client arrests in the US.

Recipe of the day:

Cornbread via Eton Chan:
Makes 2 8x8 trays

3 cups sugar
1 lb butter
8 eggs
1 quart buttermilk
2 cups AP flour
2 cups Corn flour
1 tbsp baking soda
1 ½ tbsp salt

Melt butter until it browns a little, then melt in sugar until it begins to caramelize. Combine eggs and buttermilk. Slowly whisk butter into eggs. Then whisk in dry ingredients. Pour into baking dishes line with parchment and sprayed with pam. Bake at 325°F for about 30 minutes until top is golden and caramelized.
