In case you watch YouTube on your plants.. this is a Fiddle Leaf plant that I had to clip the top off of. I have watched that you can’t root a simple leaf on this plant. I stuck it in a shallow cup of water because it was still pretty. These look like roots to me!

I’m sorry for the unpleasant picture but was wondering if anyone could give me any advice on this little rooster. The beak is broken off. He roosts in a tree at night instead of the coops. He is backed up touching a heat lamp tonight and all of the chickens that are normally in this spot have given it to just him and a little hen. Can I do anything to help him be more comfortable?

Brent bought some flowers for me to arrange for myself. I like to do that. He was disappointed that he didn’t find baby’s breath. I found all of these filler flowers in just a few minutes. Mary would be proud of all of the purple. 😊

We got our first white egg today! Always love getting something natural and new. We have been working hard making plum jam this week. When the whole tree is ready, it’s ready! 😁

We have had a bad hawk problem lately. Uno is such a good new mom. She has the chicks all over her up in the second floor of the brooder. Hot night.

They were on each side of the door when I walked out to talk to Brent. This could have been a very unpleasant evening. I was just telling him that Turkey, Turkey was upset about something there. Her neck was bright red.

Josie was such a trooper. Lost one but had 5 healthy pups by candlelight. 💜
We are still without power. Eggs are peeping and it’s Chase’s birthday!

Turkey Turkey went to the vet today. Tissue damage under its wing. A few years ago, I wouldn’t have believed that we would be taking a turkey to the vet. A pet is a pet.
