🌧️🐓 FARM CHECK-IN! How's everybody holding up out there?

This storm is making one heck of a mess here at Shaded Creek Farms, and things are getting a little too interesting for my liking!

Family update:
My daughter is evacuating because the creek in her backyard is dangerously close to overflowing its banks.

My son is safe, and thankfully, the lake levels near him are still looking good.

🐔 Farm update:
We're FLOODED! Every single coop has standing water, and our creek is barely hanging on to its banks.

You'd think after Hurricane Helene devastated our area a couple of years ago, we would've learned our lesson and moved AWAY from water.

But NOPE! Apparently, crazy runs in the family because somehow we ALL managed to move CLOSER to it. 🤦‍♀️😂

All jokes aside, we're watching the water closely and hoping everyone stays safe.

❤️ Now it's your turn! FARM CHECK-IN!

How are y'all holding up? Are your farms, animals, and families safe? Any flooding or storm damage in your area?

Drop your location and an update in the comments! Let's check on our farming community and look out for one another. ❤️🐓

Stay safe, y'all!
