For the last six years we have been building relationships with farmers, gardeners, fishermen, ranchers, bakers, cheesemakers, and artisans throughout Avoyelles Parish and beyond. We have spent countless mornings walking fields, tasting produce straight from the vine, learning the seasons, and discovering what our little corner of Louisiana truly has to offer.
Beginning June 30th, we are proud to unveil our new Summer Lunch Menu at La Petite Affaire Café.
This menu is a celebration of Avoyelles in the summertime. Heirloom tomatoes at their peak. Local blueberries bursting with flavor. Gulf seafood. Fresh herbs from the gardens. House-made breads, pastries, pickles, and desserts. Honest food prepared from scratch every day by people who genuinely care.
You’ll find familiar Louisiana comforts alongside French-inspired classics, seasonal salads, soups, sliders, and entrée plates that tell the story of our region one bite at a time.
We believe you don’t have to travel to New Orleans, Baton Rouge, or Lafayette to experience thoughtful farm-to-table cuisine. Some of the finest ingredients in Louisiana are growing right here in our own backyard.
Thank you for supporting this dream, this tribe of growers and producers, and this little café on Main Street. We have some exciting changes ahead, and this summer menu is just the beginning.
