Behind our conversations with growers are honest people who care deeply about their land, families, and the future of their farms. We see the thought and effort you put into every season and we’re grateful to be a part of it.

This National Farmer’s Day we want to say thank you to the growers who trust us and to everyone putting in the work to keep agriculture moving. We’re proud to work alongside you. 🌱

Listening, showing up, and taking the time to understand each operation is at the center of our team values. We’re grateful for every grower who has trusted and worked alongside us!

Super excited to formally introduce ourselves!

Maxwell Farms is a cow-calf operation built around knowing our cattle, knowing our land, and being intentional about how the two work together.

Cattle have been part of the Maxwell family for five generations. We raise our own replacement heifers and have built our herd slowly over the years, focusing on strong genetics.

Our cattle and row-crop operations go hand in hand. We grow much of our own feed and bedding, including rye, sorghum, cover crop forages and corn silage. Livestock manure is composted and returned to our fields to help put nutrients back into the ground.

It’s a cycle that allows us to make the most of what we have and stay connected to every part of the operation.

A lot has changed over five generations, but the reason behind what we do hasn’t:

Do the right thing for the right reasons!

It’s super important for us to take care of our people, especially because we know you all have plenty on your plate this time of year!

Let’s talk about what comes next for your field. As crops come off, they’ll take the nutrients with them. Now is a great opportunity to look at your soil tests and this year’s yields to help determine where P&K are needed for the next season. We know every field is different and your fertilizer plan should reflect that.

This is where our team comes in on the conversation. Whether you know exactly what you need or just want to talk through the options MaxAg has to offer, we’re here to help with what fits your operation.

Let’s get your dry fertilizer lined up and put that plan into action. Give us a call or stop in!
