As a breeder, we love it when a plan comes together.

Stranton had champion doe this week with Sierra - one that means more than the banner!

We originally saw her grand dam at the Royal in 22, purchased and showed her mother in ‘24. Now, Sierra is the result of the genetic vision we had. We love the resemblance of this doe, dam, and grand dam trio.

Powerful females are backed by powerful females and this one combines genetics from Went, Sturtz, and Droppert Livestock. We are excited to continue developing this maternal line and to see where it takes us.

Way to go Iowa! YGB has been an important part of our livestock journey and worth every second spent for the lessons, fellowship, and friendships made. Highly recommend to our friends and customers. I see some familiar faces holding banners this year!! 🙌
