As a single man with no kids, I never understood how parents were always late.

I used to think, “Just throw the kids in the car and leave. How hard can it be?”

That might be one of the most ignorant thoughts I’ve ever had. 😂

Because in the past year since having my daughter, I don’t think I’ve been on time for a damn thing.

You can plan ahead. Pack everything the night before. Get up early. Have everything sitting by the door. Somehow, a tiny human who has absolutely nowhere to be will completely destroy your schedule.

So to all the parents I silently judged for being late before I had a kid... I get it now. My bad. 😂

And to all the parents trying to get out the door: don’t rush. You’ll get there eventually.

Probably late. But you’ll get there. 😂

Every syrup pump gets broken down, washed, and sanitized after use.

Making a damn good lemonade is important. Making sure everything that touches it is clean is even more important.
