Stop out this evening to wish the fourth generation of the Sommer family on the farm a happy retirement! Clint Sommer put in around 44 years at the Essig and then uftringchevy dealership in Washington. Now he gets to enjoy his retirement like no other Sommer before him, tinkering as much or as little as he wants at the brewery on our family farm! 🍻🌲

After almost two years now of Midwest Skies Music Series shows these are some of our favorite events at Evergreen Farm Brewing!

In that time we’ve been through a lot, wind and heat last year, rain and floods this year, but you guys continue to show up and have a good time on the farm with great music!

So we’re putting together a pop-up show Tuesday, September 15!

A Customer Appreciation Show

This will be a FREE show to show our thanks to the community for coming together over great music and beer and an all around good time down on the farm!

Join us for Adara Rae followed by Maya de Vitry ! From Adara’s West Coast influenced sounds to Maya’s desire for her music to connect you to the roots of nature, this will be a show for the community that fits in perfect at the farm! And if you missed Shelby Means earlier this year, we hear she’ll be playing with Maya De Vitry!🍻🌲

Chisel Plow, our American IPA, is going down smooth after a double batch brew day!🍺 We’re on the last keg, but don’t worry this recipe has been a hit this year and will become a frequently brewed.

In the fermenter today we have Golden Harvest, our Belgian Pale Strong Ale, which hasn’t made an appearance in a while. Also in the tanks this week is the fall favorite, Sommerfest, set to hit the taps next month. 🍻🌲

Also I heard rumors there’s going to be an Elvis impersonator at the brewery Saturday night.🤔

Almost a week later and we’re still talking about what a great time we had at the Midwest Skies Music Series concert this past Saturday.

Big thanks to all our staff and volunteers for helping put together such a fun night! Thanks to John Till Chicago Farmer and Varwig Studios for putting on a great show. Thanks to Slow Hand Craft BBQ Big Papa Jake's River City Sweets and Treats, LLC and Poppin Floyds' Kettle Corn for providing food. And of course thanks to all our customers coming out to enjoy a spectacular evening on the farm!🍻🌲

Tonight’s the night to be at Evergreen Farm!

We’ve got J O H N T I L L opening at 6 and Chicago Farmer going on at 7:30 for the night of the summer at Evergreen Farm Brewing!
With temps dropping into the upper 60’s by the time we’re done, bring a lawn chair, bring a sweatshirt and sit back and enjoy the wind down of summer.

Coincidentally it’s also the wind down of Chicago Farmer & The Fieldnotes. After this final season they will be working on separate ventures, so don’t miss this show!

Who’s ready for Chicago Farmer this Saturday!?

We’re super excited to have Chicago Farmer & The Fieldnotes back at Evergreen Farm for part of their “The Last Harvest” tour. If you haven’t heard, this year will be the end of an era for them as they chase down other opportunities in order to stay true to the music that has shaped them.

J O H N T I L L is also back at the farm to open the show, forming a musical combination that just feels right at the farm! This will be a show not to miss!!

Just to clarify the previous post! It is pretty soggy out here, but that was an old photo.

We do enjoy all the suggestions though! Canoe rental, paddle boards, …maybe we should install a lazy river!🤔🍻🌲
