Diplomatico/ Botucal is consistently recognized as one of

the finest South American rums. The distillery complex at Destilerias Unidas (DUSA) has been producing top-quality spirits for over 53 years and is designed for versatility, with a total of seven stills (three pot stills and four column stills) all producing different styles of spirit from top-grade molasses and sugar cane honeys. Currently it has become one of the international standards when speaking of premium rums with the achievement of 54 medals in contests worldwide including the SIP Awards, San Francisco World Spirits, Miami Rum XP, Monde Selection among others. One of the biggest achievements came in October 2011, as our Rum Master Mr. Tito Cordero was honored at the Golden Rum Barrels Awards for the World's Best Master Blender of 2011, being the first Venezuelan ever to get this mention. The flagship of the company is Reserva Exclusiva blended exclusively from pot still rums aged for twelve years and takes the brand’s characteristic sweet, fruity flavors to an even higher level of concentration and intensity. This is truly exceptional sipping rum.
