Single vs. double espresso ☕️

Same ratio. Same brew time. Different dose.

10g → 20g
18g → 36g
Both around 25–30 sec.

The dose changes, not the recipe.

The beat drops. So does the espresso. ☕️

Small enough to disappear on your counter.
But can it actually grind for espresso?

First impressions of the Geimori T38 Plus by Geimori : tiny footprint, stepless adjustment, and a surprisingly capable espresso workflow.

The real question: would you make room for this on your coffee bar? ☕️

Yes, it’s just water 💧☕️

This is called RDT (Ross Droplet Technique), a tiny mist of water before grinding helps reduce static, which means less coffee sticking to your grinder and less mess on your counter.

You only need a tiny amount. Don’t soak the beans.

Do you use RDT when making espresso?

Better latte art starts with better milk texture. ☕️

Keep the steam tip just below the surface, add air early, then create a strong vortex to blend everything into smooth, glossy microfoam.
The goal: silky milk, no bubbles, and that wet-paint texture.

That tiny lift changes everything. ☕️

When you finish your latte art, lift the pitcher slightly before cutting through the design.
Stay too low and the milk keeps pushing the pattern instead of creating a clean cut.

Small adjustment. Much cleaner result.

Save this for your next pour. 🤎

A beautiful extraction doesn’t always mean a delicious espresso. ☕️

Your eyes can help you spot problems, but your taste buds should make the final call.

Too sour? Try extracting more.
Too bitter? Try extracting less.

Chase the taste, not just the shot.

Save this for your next dial-in.

Espresso just hits different in slow motion. 🤤☕️

That syrupy flow, the color, the texture… this is the part I could watch all day.

Anyone else? 👀

Wet puck after your shot? Don’t panic 👇

A soupy puck usually means too much headspace, not necessarily a bad extraction.

If your espresso tastes good, don’t chase a dry puck. But if you want a cleaner, firmer puck, try slightly increasing your dose or using a smaller basket.

How does your puck usually look after a shot? ☕️

Milk texture can make or break your latte art. ☕️

Too much air → thick, foamy milk that won’t flow.
Not enough air → thin milk with no structure.
The sweet spot? Silky, glossy microfoam that flows like wet paint.

Get the texture right, and latte art gets so much easier.

Save this for your next steaming session.
