Q&A with Sunset Resort!

Q: Do you really have a boat 🛥️launch open?
A: YES! Our boat 🚣ramp is open 7 days a week 7 am - 7 pm…and it’s fully CONCRETE the entire way AND into the water!

Q: I’m here and your gate is closed, are you still open?
A: YES! Call 📲or text 830-444-5879 for access

Q: My grandson and I want to go fishing 🎣from the shore, how much does that cost?
A: Unfortunately at this time we do not offer fishing from our banks or marina. If you don’t have a boat or kayak to fish from we rent kayaks onsite.

Q: Is there enough water to fish or water ski in?
A: YES! We water ski daily (water is a chilly 56 degree currently!) and plenty of room to fish!

Q: Can I pack a picnic and come hang out for the day on the shore of Sunset Resort?
A: Unfortunately right now we are only open for boat/kayak launching, kayak rental, sports courts rentals or RV site rentals.. BUT we will be open on Feb 28th for the Polar Plunge and all to enjoy a day out by the lake!
