🌱Nature is a great teacher

🥕These two carrot tops were chopped and rooted in water at the exact same time, but have their own journey of growth

This is a great nature activity to try with your little one at home. It takes little to no effort and it shows them how beautiful and incredible nature truly is

You can root these stems in soil and grow more carrots! What a cool visualization of the lifecycle of a vegetable.

☀️Summer Camp is flying by.

Each week we cook new recipes, make new crafts, and practice math and literacy skills with new games.

Yesterday we made Guacamole and one student said, “I’ve never liked guacamole until now.”

Trying news things and learning that our food preferences change over time is a big part of our cooking curriculum.

I always tell the class, I’m not here to make you like every recipe. I will also never make you try anything you are not ready to try. But their curiosity usually gets the better of them and being a part of the cooking process makes them excited to try their finished product.

We still have 1️⃣ more week of our
4th/5th grade Prep Summer Camp.
