Multitasking with the A John Deere!

Well Jaynine did it again! She put her fence crawling skills to use and got through the fence to calve in the brush, for more privacy but that’s the same reason we would have liked to calve where we can see her! We drove and walked both pastures before starting night chores but she had herself and baby hid pretty good, so we couldn’t find them so she spent the night outside. We did leave the pasture gate open figuring baby probably wouldn’t be able to jump a fence like mom.

We know Jaynine has some strong maternal instincts, which she put to use. During morning chores a glance out the window we caught sight of Jaynine walking through the pasture gate with baby by her side.
