Sometimes, caring for someone you love means knowing when you don’t have to do it all alone.

At Courtyard Villa Assisted Living, we know that making the decision to seek additional support for a loved one can bring a lot of emotions. There may be questions, uncertainty, and even a little guilt.

But choosing support doesn’t mean you’re doing less for your loved one. It means you’re caring enough to make sure they have the support, companionship, and care they deserve.

The South Dakota Department of Human Services offers Caregiver Resources to help families find information, services, and support. One great resource is Dakota at Home, South Dakota’s Aging and Disability Resource Center. Their team provides free, unbiased information and can help connect older adults, individuals with disabilities, and caregivers with resources available in their community.
