Sadly this was the best ( and only ) picture we got at the Central California Fainting Goat Show this weekend 🫠. It was a busy weekend hosting and trying to juggle showing at the same time with Fire Sky Farm. Our girl AA Polito was named Reserve Grand Champion doe under judge Shelly Strahan and is still on the hunt for the illusive 3rd point. RSR Half Moon Bay took one more shot at the even more elusive 4th point ( as he lost one to a clerical error) so the old man is hanging up his show hat and won’t be leaving the farm again. His yearling grandson Maximum Sentance got a lot of good feedback from the judges and guests and took 1st place in his class in shows 1-3 and 2nd place in show 4 . We had a great time as per usual with our goat friends and it was amazing to have Jacob from DelBay Farms and Jim Dowell out for the first time to judge for us. Also special thanks to Shelly Strahan and Gretchen Van Echo for coming out to judge for us again and providing such great feedback. Till next year !
