Hey neighbors. 🌽🍅 As many of you know, we run our farm stand on the honor system. We work hard to price everything below typical grocery store prices because we want fresh, healthy food to be affordable and fair for everyone. This stand is run by an incredible team of special-needs individuals and local adults who put their hearts, pride, and hard work into growing these vegetables.

We know times can be tough right now. If a family is genuinely in need, we would always prefer they take some vegetables to get by rather than feel the need to break into our cash box. Unfortunately, our box was recently broken into, and stealing money directly hurts the very growers who work so hard to keep this running.

Because of this, our farm stand will be temporarily unavailable for a while. We need to pause operations until we are able to get a new money box replaced and securely installed. Until that time, we won't have vegetables out. We are incredibly sad to have to pause, and we ask for your patience and understanding as we get things sorted out. Thank you so much to everyone who continues to support our team and treat our stand with respect! We will post an update as soon as we are ready to reopen! ❤️

❤️ To the individuals we serve and their families, guardians, and caregivers:

You may have heard that there has been a change at St. Isidore Farm and the Fiber Mill.

👍 We want to assure everyone that both programs WILL continue to operate and serve our community. Going forward, services will be provided through a new partnership with Goodwill Industries!

❓If you have questions about how this transition may affect your loved one, we encourage you to contact your CMH caseworker to discuss any updates or adjustments that may be needed

🎉 We are excited about this next chapter and the opportunities this partnership with Goodwill Industries will bring! Thank you for your continued support, trust, and commitment to the individuals we serve ❤️

☺️ We look forward to continuing this important work together ☺️

☀️Getting ready for the heat wave! ☀️

🦙 Alpacas don’t sweat, pant, or have any way to naturally expel heat, except for finding cool spots to lay down

🧊 So we provide them pools with cold water to cool their bellies and legs down during hot days
