Happy Friday All. Let’s make RENEW our word of the month! January is the perfect time to do any of the things I just mentioned, beginning with restoration to our body and our spirit. We are God’s treasure and He longs to draw us closer to Him. The Book of Daniel (Chapter 1), tells us how Daniel, while serving in King Nebuchadnezzar’s court, chose not to partake of the King’s menu, which was full of rich foods and alcohol. Such refusal was unheard of, but Daniel challenged the Babylonian court to allow he and his cohorts to have their healthy foods and water for 10 days(vegetables, fruit, whole grains, beans/legumes, nuts & seeds, herbs/spices/seasonings, (and now non-dairy milk)). By drawing closer to God through prayer and the healthy eating fast, Daniel and friends, emerged dynamic in every single way!
