Here’s a fantastic hack for when you find bacon on sale — freeze it in easy-to-use rolls! No more thawing the whole package just to cook a few slices. This method saves space and makes breakfast (or BLTs) so much easier.

How to Freeze Bacon in Rolls

Instructions:
1. Lay out the bacon strips on a cutting board or parchment paper.
2. Roll each strip (or small groups of 2–3 slices) tightly into individual rolls.
3. Place the rolls in a single layer on a baking sheet and freeze until solid.
4. Transfer the frozen bacon rolls into a large freezer bag or vacuum-sealed bag.
5. Label with the date and contents. Store in the freezer.

To Use:
Pull out just the number of rolls you need, thaw slightly, and cook as usual. Perfect for small families or when you only want a couple of slices!

This is such a practical way to stock up on bacon without waste, especially with food costs rising. Your future self will thank you!

To all my wonderful customers, Proctor Farms will be at the Grants Pass Growers Market tomorrow from 9-1.

I just want to give you all a heads up, 8 months ago I injured my foot. This has caused some pretty good damage to ligaments & tendons, created bone spurs, so quite painful. I am in a boot until further notice or surgery.

That being said the gluten free baking will be limited, not completely gone just less of a variety, as I need to spend less time standing in the kitchen. I did a company party for a friends business this week and will have all the baked goods left on sale tomorrow. Stock up everything freezes well.

I will continue to have hummus, pesto, the fruit shrubs, jams, relishes, salsa and soon fruit lemonade, as these items are a better use of the time I can spend on my feet.

Thank you as always for your support of small business.👩‍🌾👩‍🍳

One of the most talented artist Hope Weaver can be found Saturday’s at the Grants Pass Growers Market. Stop by her booth and see a sampling of her talent! I am in awe of her💕

What a wonderful gift I received today from my sister from another mister Hope Weaver.

I have always been drawn to her waterfall paintings and every time I had the money to buy one…they sold! 3 different one in 1 day!!!

Not only did I get one of her most beautiful waterfall paintings but she put our Tucker in it🐾

Words can not express exactly what this means to me, this amazing piece of art is now a family treasure. The picture I am sharing does not do this piece of art justice.

Hope is one of the sweetest, most humble, kind, and beyond talented people I know.

You can find her every Saturday at the Grants Pass Growers Market where you can see a small sampling of her many talents or at Art of Hope paintings & gifts. If you are looking for a special one of a kind gift I would recommend you consider getting her to put your dreams on canvas, Hope also has fun classes every Sunday at her studio.

You need to tap on the picture to see it all.
