PHILLIP IS OK!!!!
We don’t always know what people are going through behind the scenes. If Jake seemed a little off this weekend, on Friday night his dog, Phillip was scratched in the eye by a cat and suffered a full corneal laceration. Jake was told Phillip would likely need to have the eye removed and if it was badly infected potentially euthanized. He wouldn’t know until the follow up appointment on Monday.
Running on no sleep our staff acted like a real family. Allowing Jake to go back and forth every few hours to give Phillip his eye drops, antibiotics, and pain meds. Holding down the fort and picking us up while we were struggling.
Today Phillip had his follow up and his eye is already 95% healed and he is expected to make a FULL recovery! He is INCREDIBLY LUCKY and we wanted to share the amazing news—Jake had been crying a lot before this photo was taken but happy tears!
We are so lucky to have not only the best customers but the BEST STAFF EVER!
