I love that feeling when you know you have something special. This little guy is looking like he will have fantastic herd sire potential. He looks like a perfect blend of his sires stocky build, and his dams amazing fiber!

Limited supply of green beans in the store today! It’s the first week of harvest and they’re looking good. And they taste amazing so get them while you can because I don’t think there will be enough to make it to the Sidney market tomorrow. Open Tuesdays and Fridays to the 630 in the barn!

This guy is pretty psyched that finally all the beans are in the ground this week! Now to start thinking about row cultivating!

Spending some time this week trying to get the unruly tomatoes in order. So far only two of the five rows complete 😬 The high tunnel gets a little too toasty midday though so it’s an early morning venture. And look what I found the first ripe Clementine of the year! Boxes of sunshine coming soon!

Sunday fun day… Well, not exactly! But we did get a start on out planting our pumpkins and gourds! They look pretty good in the rolled rye. Fingers crossed weeds won’t be too big of an issue. Tomorrow, hopefully we’ll get started on the winter squashes!
