Last call for this week’s DockBox meal kit! 🐟🦀

Ordering for our September 18th DockBox closes tomorrow, September 17th at 9am.

What we're excited about this week:

🌊 Roasted Lingcod & Clams
Pacific lingcod with Little Skookum Inlet Manila clams, Rancho Gordo Corona beans and Eloisa Farms leeks, simmered in our house made dashi crafted from locally caught blackcod frames and finished with a bright sauce verte.

🦀 Fisherman’s Catch Roll
A Local Ocean favorite inspired by Oregon’s special fisheries. Dungeness crabmeat and Oregon pink shrimp are tossed with celery, onions and bell peppers, topped with zingy Huichol hot sauce and piled onto a toasted hoagie. Think Oregon seafood meets a classic lobster roll.

We're excited to be offering a new meal kit recipe for our Roasted Lingcod & Clams.

Celebrate the flavors of the Pacific Northwest with a roasted fillet of Pacific lingcod paired with Little Skookum Inlet Manila clams, savory Rancho Gordo Corona beans, and sweet Eloisa Farms leeks. The clams and beans are gently simmered in Local Ocean's house-made dashi, crafted from locally caught blackcod frames to create a rich, savory broth with remarkable depth. Finished with a bright, herbaceous sauce verte, this dish is a celebration of thoughtfully sourced ingredients from land and sea.

On the menu: a NEW refresh of a classic Local Ocean dish, Halibut & Peaches. This dish is a celebration of summer and is our most popular seasonal special of the year. It features fresh Oregon halibut, paired with the unique mix of shish*to peppers, fresh grilled peaches, and creamy burrata cheese, all topped by a zingy cilantro vinaigrette. Guests of the restaurant on Newport’s Historic Bayfront come from all over the country to taste this unique dish every summer!

Plus, our Grilled Fish Tacos al Pastor are available through DockBox. These are made with rockfish & lingcod, grilled pineapple, pickled serrano peppers, and salsa verde.

This week's menu includes some DockBox favorites, including our Fishwives Stew and Razor Clam Chowder, alongside a seasonal standout: Spring Chinook Salmon.

Pan roasted skin on and served medium rare, our Spring Chinook is paired with asparagus, English peas, and maitake mushrooms at the peak of their season. A light butter sauce made with our house made dashi adds rich umami flavor, while fresh lemon brightens every bite.

It's a celebration of Pacific Northwest flavors and one of our favorite ways to enjoy Oregon salmon right now!

There's something NEW on the DockBox meal kit menu... Pink Shrimp Chilaquiles! Each kit serves two and comes fully pre-portioned, so there’s no guesswork, no waste, and no extra prep. This brunch favorite features delicate Oregon pink shrimp, paired with crispy fried tortilla chips that soak up a rich salsa ranchera made with guajillo chiles. It’s layered with queso fresco, fresh whole eggs, and finished with bright, herbaceous avocado-cilantro sauce. Top with sliced red onion, fresh cilantro, and crisp radish for contrast and crunch.

Chinook Salmon Dinner
Our classic wild Chinook salmon dinner for two, featuring a 5 oz portion of salmon per person served alongside linguini and a saffron tomato sauce. The dish comes with a seasonal vegetable mix including carrot, broccoli, celery, bell pepper, zucchini, red onion, and kale, finished with herb paste, poblano pepper, Oregonzola cheese, and fresh parsley and green onion.

Moqueca de Peixe (Brazilian Seafood Stew)
A vibrant Brazilian style seafood stew with Oregon rockfish, Dungeness crab meat, and Weathervane scallops in a fragrant green curry and coconut milk broth. Finished with roasted mushrooms, tomatoes, onion, red bell pepper, fresh herbs, herb paste, and lime.

Rockfish Tacos with Mango Pico
Cajun spiced rockfish served taco style with mango tomato pico de gallo, avocado salsa verde, cotija cheese, radish, and lime on corn tortillas. Two tacos per person.
