September might be my favorite moment in the garden—summer flowers are still showing off, but fall is beginning to sneak in around the edges.

My September Garden wreath is filled with cheerful dried zinnias, strawflower, gomphrena and statice, mixed with wispy grasses, golden grain, sculptural bottle tree pods and just a few touches of autumn orange. 🌸🌾🍁

At approximately 20–22 inches, it’s full, colorful and completely one of a kind. I love that it feels like fall without being a traditional fall wreath—the summer garden hasn’t quite given up yet!

🌿 The Gathered Garden Wreath 🌿

This one feels like the whole garden gathered up and saved for another season.

I filled it with dried celosia, strawflower, gomphrena, German and purple statice, dill, grain, grasses and sunflower, then tucked in pinecones, walnut halves and some of my favorite quirky little bottle tree pods.

There’s so much texture in this one—and something new to notice every time you look at it!

🍂 I’m back in the shop—and the fall creations have begun! 🍂

Starting the season with this big, beautiful 36–38" natural fall wreath, filled with the colors and textures of late summer turning toward autumn.

I created this one with:

🌽 Corn husks

I love all the wild, natural movement in this piece—and the hydrangeas have dried into the prettiest shades of soft pink, green and cream.

On Thursday, August 20th at 7pm, head to Agecroft Hall & Gardens for a lecture by Dr. Nancy Parrish. In "Royals, Aristocrats, and WWI," Dr. Parrish will trace the role of royals in the unfurling of what they called The Great War, British aristocrats’ naïve welcome of it, and some of its consequences reaching even into the present century.

🌸 Some things only get better with time. 🌸

One of the greatest compliments we can receive is seeing one of our creations become part of someone's home for years to come. This beautiful photo was recently shared by a customer who purchased this wreath 2½ years ago, and we couldn't love it more.

Crafted from carefully selected natural botanicals, the wreath has dried beautifully in place, developing the soft, muted character that only time can create. Rather than fading away, it has settled naturally into its surroundings and now feels as though it has always belonged in this lovely vintage vignette.
