The pollinator fields are beginning to bloom, the grasses sway in the summer breeze, and dragonflies dance across the farm from sunrise to sunset. Some hover like tiny helicopters, while others flash brilliant shades of blue, green, and gold as they skim over the fields and pond. ♥
Beyond their beauty, dragonflies are remarkable creatures. They spend most of their lives underwater before emerging to take flight, and they're among nature's most effective mosquito hunters. Seeing them everywhere is a sign of a healthy habitat filled with clean water, native plants, and thriving wildlife.
As I gather grasses, seed pods, and other natural treasures for future wreaths, these graceful visitors are never far away—adding a little extra magic to every walk across the farm.
