Two for one today! 🐴💕 Rode Annie while ponying Snapple, so both girls got their exercise in! Nothing better than some saddle time with my girls. I sure have missed them! ❤️🐎

🐣🐓 Coop Refresh & New Baby Pics! ❤️

Productive day! While the big girls enjoyed some free-range time, I let Faith and her four little babies explore the run while I gave the coop a much-needed refresh! 🧹✨

Of course, we had to squeeze in a little photoshoot too! 📸 The babies are growing like weeds, getting their little feathers, and showing off their own personalities!

I think we may even have our first little frizzle in the bunch! 😍🐥

🐣💕 Circle C Acres — Our Fab Four Update! 💕

We took some new pictures of our four little fluffballs today, and goodness, they’re already changing so much in just a few days! 😍

Willie, Cash, June, and Patsy are officially 4–5 days old, and we’ve been having so much fun watching their little feathers come in and seeing how different each one is!

Since these babies came from Silkie × Frizzle eggs, we’re especially excited to see which ones inherit those fluffy Silkie characteristics and whether any develop the adorable curly frizzle feathers! 🐥

So far, June and Patsy are showing some pretty strong Silkie traits, including feathered feet, while Willie and Cash are developing their own beautiful colors and markings.

We put together a little update on each baby with their newest pictures, current characteristics, and our guesses about what they might look like as they grow! Of course, it’s still early, and these little surprises could change quite a bit over the next few weeks. ❤️

Mama Faith and her four babies are doing great in their nursery, and we’re loving every minute of watching them grow!

Now tell us… which of our Fab Four is your favorite?! 💛🩶🤎🖤

🐣❤️ And just like that… our little hatch is officially complete!

Mama Faith has officially decided she’s done sitting on eggs! After finding her off them again this morning, I decided it was time to call it quits. She’s given it her all. ❤️

Today, I moved Faith and her FOUR precious babies back into the chicken coop, into the special little nursery Sydney and I built for them Monday! 🏡🐥

And since our flock is named after country music singers, it’s only fitting to introduce our newest little country crew! 🎶🤠

🐥 Baby #1 – Willie: Our golden/buff cutie and first to hatch!

🐥 Baby #2 – Cash: Our charcoal/blue-gray fluffball!

🐥 Baby #3 – June: Our five-toed, feather-footed baby we actually watched hatch! 🥹

🐥 Baby #4 – Patsy: Our five toed dark charcoal with light face little sweetheart!

Do we know who’s a boy or girl? Nope! 😂 But the names are official!

Final chick count: FOUR! 🐥🐥🐥🐥

Now the fun begins… watching them grow, discovering their personalities, and seeing who ends up with those crazy Frizzle feathers! ❤️

🐣💕 Circle C Acres Chick Watch Update! 💕🐣

Well, we officially have FOUR precious little fluff balls running around, and Faith is doing a wonderful job being a first-time mama! 🥹❤️

We still have four eggs remaining from our original eight. Three of those showed development when we candled them, and one appeared to be a dud.

One of the remaining eggs now has a little starburst crack at the rounded end, which could mean Baby #5 is trying to make its grand entrance! 🐣🤞

However, Faith seems to be transitioning from sitting on eggs to taking care of her four new babies. The remaining eggs have started feeling a little cool, so we’re not sure whether we’ll have any more hatchlings.

We’re keeping our fingers crossed and giving them every chance we can, but we also know Mother Nature sometimes has other plans.

No matter what happens, watching Faith become a mama and getting to witness one of her babies hatch right before our eyes has been such an amazing experience! ❤️

Will we meet Baby #5, or is our little flock of four complete? Stay tuned! 🐥🐥🐥🐥💕

Baby number FOUR arrived overnight! 🐣🐣🐣🐣

We woke up this morning to FOUR babies! 🥹 After comparing pictures, we figured out that Baby #3 is definitely the little one we got to watch kick its way out of the shell last night! Once completely dried and fluffed up, it surprised us with the prettiest smoky taupe/gray coloring, warm brown along its head and back, lighter little cheeks and chest, dark legs, and FIVE adorable feathered toes! 🤎🩶

And while we were sleeping, Baby #4 made its grand entrance! This one is much darker—a gorgeous charcoal/black with a lighter silvery-gray face and head, dark legs, and it ALSO has five feathered toes! 🖤🩶

It is crazy how different they look once they go from soaking wet little hatchlings to fluffy babies! 😂 And I absolutely LOVE that every single one is coming out looking different.

Four babies officially here! 🐣🐣🐣🐣 Now we wait to see what the remaining eggs do…and eventually find out who got the Frizzle gene! 😍

Faith continues to be the BEST little mama. ❤️

🐣 BABY #3 IS HERE!!! 🐣🤎

And this one gave us the BEST experience yet — we actually got to watch Baby #3 kick its way completely out of the shell! 🥹😭 There is seriously nothing cooler than watching that tiny little baby work so hard and then finally make its grand entrance into the world.

And Baby #3 is already extra special… FIVE TOES! 🖐️🐥 This little one has dark/slate legs, five tiny toes, and some feathering on those little feet — definitely showing off some strong Silkie traits already! 😍

Faith continues to be the sweetest little mama, and watching her hatch these babies has been such an incredible experience. Three babies down… and we’re still watching those eggs! 👀🥚🐣

Welcome to Circle C Acres, Baby #3! 🤎🐥✨

AHHHH!!! 🐣🐣 We have another baby!!! 😭🤎

Faith is officially TWO for TWO today, and I cannot handle the cuteness! Our newest little chick just made its grand entrance and is still looking a little wet and wobbly from all that hard work. 🥹 Meanwhile, big sibling is already fluffed up and looking like it owns the place. 😂

Two babies down, and we still have eggs to go! 👀🥚 I have a feeling I’m going to be checking this nest a-lot the rest of the night. 😂

Faith is doing such a good job, and watching these babies hatch underneath her has been the absolute sweetest thing. Welcome to Circle C Acres, baby #2! 🐥🤎

Nowwww… who’s next?! 👀🐣🥚

🐣 WE HAVE A BABY!!! 🐣😭💛

The waiting is officially paying off at Circle C Acres! Faith has hatched her very first chick, and I may be slightly more excited about this than I should be. 😂🥹

After candling last weekend and seeing 7 out of 8 little babies developing and moving, walking into the coop today and seeing this tiny face peeking out among the eggs was THE BEST surprise. 😭🐥

Mama Faith has been so dedicated, and now the waiting game continues to see how many brothers and sisters decide to make their appearance! 👀🐣

One little nugget down… hopefully SIX more to go! 🤞🏼🐥🐥🐥🐥🐥🐥

Welcome to the world, tiny baby! 💛
Life at Circle C Acres just got a little fluffier. 🥰🐓🌾
