Windy Ridge Jerseys Windy Ridge Jerseys is a family run dairy farm owned by J and Rachel Hodge; we sell our milk to Pearl Valley Cheese. We love our cows and our family.

We are J and Rachel (Elliott) Hodge, two children...Elaina and Braden. We started milking Jerseys in 2007. We have shipped milk to Broughton through Dairy Farmers of America, and now to Pearl Valley Cheese. We focus on cow health and happiness, as well as quality milk as a product. Our current rolling herd average is 19,126 lbs and our average somatic cell count is 120,000. We welcome any discussi

on on dairy farming, agriculture and the dairy industry; however, we will remove any posts that use profanity or are mean-spirited. Our goal on Facebook is to educate those who want to learn about animal agriculture and what it means to have a family farm.

Some images of the pad becoming our bunker silo. Similar to a bag, but instead of being packed into a bag with a bagger, its dumped into the bunker and packed with a weighted tractor so it ferments correctly. Then we cover it and hold the plastic down with tires 🥴
