What did you eat/drink to bring in the new year?

Us: This spicy/smoky/sweet jollof rice balanced out perfectly by the fresh nuttiness of pea tendrils.

Pairing: batch no. 12C; the pillowy mouthfeel soothes the spiciness from the rice and the meandering melon/sour sop/butterscotch notes create a seamless flavor adventure.

Senior wine critic Esther Mobley reviews our unusual approach to making a delicious wine!

While palm wine has been locally consumed for 1000’s of years, it was skipped over by the industrial revolutions due to it’s delicate nature- more finicky than grape wine, sake, or beer. Well, fast forward to today and Ikenga Wines is using technology to enable tropical wine categories. We celebrate old traditions in a new way.
