See you at camp? Kids age 7- 10 and their parents welcome!

Handwork encompasses many creative and artistic medias, including knitting, crochet, sewing, embroidery, wet felting, needle felting, cross-stitch, natural dye, woodworking, and more.

Over the course of our week together, participants will get creative and play with many aspects of fiber arts, including yarn spinning, dying with natural dyes, yarn weaving, and sewing!

Farm pasture raised eggs now available!

Order by Tuesday night for pickup on Wednesdays in Ojai, or catch us biweekly at the Ojai Certified Farmers Market on select Sundays.

Our chickens spend their days grazing outside with a view of the Topas as we rotate their coop around our pastures.

These delicious and nutritious eggs are now on sale at the farm during farm events and during weekly pickup times through online ordering.

This spring our team built a new chicken tractor to help us care for hens as they graze our pastures while producing delicious and nutritious eggs.

There are many ways of building with earth to create everything from homes to ovens to plaster finishes on existing structures.

In this workshop we will use the tried and true materials: clay, sand, and fiber, to create with three different types of earthen building systems: , , and . as we build half walls for our open air well house structure.

This workshop will be 15% percent lecture and 85% hands on experience.

Learn 3 techniques with us this weekend:

1) will be used to build up from the granite rock and gravel foundation to provide a sturdy base for the walls

2) will be used to help provide easy lift from pre-cast adobes that you’ll learn to make with simple forms

3) will be used for the half-wall structures with wooden lathe reinforcing the mixture of clay, sand and straw
