About Our Community Table – Okeechobee, FL
Thank you for taking the time to learn more about what Our Community Table is doing in our local communities and beyond. What began in Martin County on April 10, 2020, has grown into a recognized movement focused on fighting food poverty. We believe no one should ever have to go without a meal on a Saturday—or any day of the week. To further this mission
, we’ve launched the End Hunger Campaign in Okeechobee County to raise awareness and open eyes to the very real and urgent needs of our neighbors.

Ministry Vision
Our vision is to ensure no one goes without a meal. We’ve grown from one meal site to 12 active stations across Martin County (Stuart, Hobe Sound, Indiantown), and now we are expanding into Okeechobee.

• Establish a permanent home base facility
• Launch a Clothing Closet for those in need
• Operate a Mobile Food Pantry
• Acquire transport vans for food deliveries
• Support emergency relief efforts
• Provide meeting rooms and counseling spaces
• Facilitate small group Bible studies
• Host catering events to raise awareness
• Collaborate with other nonprofits to expand community outreach

Ministry Growth
From serving 124 meals in April 2020 to now delivering 1,900+ meals each week in Martin County, Our Community Table continues to grow—with over 400 active volunteers serving regularly. Our volunteer family includes people of all backgrounds—from children learning to give back, to those with physical or mental challenges finding purpose in service.

Food Costs and Challenges
Due to rising food prices and an increase in distribution locations, our weekly food costs now average $3,000–$3,200. We face ongoing supply challenges but remain faithful—trusting God to provide for our continued growth, especially as we begin serving here in Okeechobee.
