We are having a great time at the N.C. State Fair meeting so many of you at our booth inside the Got to Be NC pavilion inside Dorton Arena!

The week kicked pff with the exciting country ham competition the first day of the fair when our friends and neighbors from ParksFamilyFarms won the championship blue ribbon for best in show!

Since then we’ve been on the cooking stage with chefs and in the booth meeting all of you talking about our Tidewater Grain Company Carolina Gold Rice, rice products and all of our Tidewater Grain co swag!

Four days in and the Tidewater Grain Company Heirloom Grains | NC Carolina Gold Rice team is having a great time at the 2026 N.C. State Fair 🎡

Our Tidewater Booth is inside Dorton Arena, the Got to Be NC Pavilion for the 10 day stretch of the fair. And, Our good friend Randy Lewis is serving his legendary RanLew Dairy soft serve in the booth right next door 🍦

We love being on the cooking stage with chefs and hosting them in our booth as well!

Come and see us Oct 17-25 for Carolina Gild Rice, Mano Bella Artisan Foods risotto, Southern Breeze Seafood breaders and seasonings and all kinds a great swag!

Fresh from the mill and headed for the potting mix!

We delivered a fresh bulk bag of Tidewater Grain rice hulls to our friends at Pinecone Nursery in New Bern, NC. A nursery that takes pride in the quality of its plants knows that what goes into the soil matters just as much as what grows out of it.
Our all natural rice hulls are a great way to improve soil structure, promote drainage, and help create a better growing environment for healthy roots and thriving plants.

From our North Carolina farm to North Carolina school cafeterias!
We’re proud to be part of the Got to Be NC Farm to School program, helping put locally grown food on students’ plates.
It’s more than knowing where your food comes from, it’s about giving North Carolina students wholesome, locally grown food while supporting the family farms that grow it. Every serving of Tidewater Grain rice connects a child’s lunch tray to a real farm, real farmers, and their own community.
