Good morning from B.E.G.M. Farm! ☀️

The sun is finally shining, the birds are singing, and everything seems a little happier this morning. After all that rain, the gardens are soaking up every bit of sunshine they can get.

Mark and Big Louie are already plotting out another raised garden bed (because apparently one more project is always the answer 😂), while I’m making my rounds through the gardens and checking for fresh eggs.

The stand is stocked and ready for visitors! Fresh produce, homemade goodies, and a little slice of farm life waiting for you.

🌞 What a beautiful ending to the day. 🌞

This morning was foggy, cool, and rainy, but by afternoon the sunshine came out and reminded us that sometimes the best days just take a little longer to get started.

The stand is freshly stocked with:
🫐 Fresh blueberries
🍅 Tomatoes
🥒 Zucchini
🧄 Garlic
🧅 Scallions
🍠 Sweet potatoes
💐 Fresh-cut wildflower bouquets

While I was stocking the stand, Mark and Big Louie's were plotting out another raised garden bed. Around here, one garden is never enough! 🌱

Now I’ve got fresh chicken and garden vegetables cooking for dinner, the windows are open, and I’m taking a few minutes to enjoy the peace that comes after a full day.

It’s amazing how a gloomy morning can turn into a beautiful evening. That’s one of the things I love most about life on the farm—you never know what the day has in store.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by the stand today and continues to support our little farm. Every visit, every share, and every kind word means the world to us.

🌧️ Good morning from B.E.G.M. Farm! 🐌

Rainy mornings have a way of slowing everything down… and sometimes they remind us to do the same.

While checking the garden this morning, I found this tiny little friend making its way across one of our leaves. No rush. No hurry. Just enjoying the fresh rain.

It’s funny how the smallest moments can end up being the most beautiful.

We hope you’re able to slow down for a few minutes today and enjoy whatever little bit of beauty you find around you.

🌧️ Rainy days have a way of slowing life down.

An early day at work, the rain tapping on the windows, and Mark and I curled up on the couch watching movies together. Sometimes these quiet moments are the ones we need most.

And out in the coop, our new girls gave us one more reason to smile—they laid the final egg to complete their very first dozen! 🥚🤍

It’s a small milestone, but around here we celebrate the little things. The first dozen eggs. A rainy afternoon. Time together. Those are the moments that make this life so special.

🌧️ Good morning from B.E.G.M. Farm. 🍵

Rainy mornings on the farm have a different kind of peace.

The garden is getting a long, refreshing drink, the pond is covered in gentle ripples, and the chickens have decided they’re absolutely not getting their feet wet today. 😂🐔

I’ll be heading to my part-time job this morning, while Mark is spending the day working in the garage and cleaning out the barn. Even on rainy days, there’s always something to do around here.

For now, though, I’m taking a few quiet minutes with a hot cup of tea, listening to the rain, and being thankful for a slower start to the day.

Now I’m curious…

Sometimes the farm reminds us that there’s always one more chore waiting… one more w**d to pull, one more animal to check, one more project to finish.

Today we decided to press pause.

We loaded up Odin and spent a little time hiking at Waverly Glen Falls. The cool air, the sound of the water, and watching our goofy boy happily explore were exactly what our hearts needed.

On Father’s Day, we’re especially missing our kids. Life changes, families grow, and sometimes the miles between us feel a little longer on days like today. But no matter where they are, they’re always in our hearts.

So today we’re grateful—for quiet trails, wagging tails, beautiful places close to home, and a reminder that taking a break isn’t falling behind… it’s taking care of yourself.

We hope everyone had a peaceful Father’s Day, however you spent it. ❤️
