See this face? It’s adorable isn’t it? Don’t let her fool you! She doesn’t mind her boundaries and keeps pushing her “out of bounds” further and further until today when she went WAY too far.

She is currently in jail.

The crime? Crossing the road to eat a skunk that was hit in the road a few days ago. Pigs will eat anything now has a whole new meaning 🤢

We have been a little quiet on here lately but that doesn’t mean it’s been quiet on the farm. We have been extremely busy this summer to the point where we are actually looking forward to the slow of Winter.

Chickens are all raised, processed, and sold. We still have some to distribute! We will get to you all soon!

Five calves were born here this year, four have made their way to their new homes and the last remaining calf will be staying with us. We have three more calves due for Fall babies in the next month or so!

About 400 round bales have been stocked away for winter. Along with about 300 square bales. Special thanks to the Howe family for their efforts in keeping our herd fed over winter!

The AirBnB cabin has been a superb hit in our kick off year! We have hosted so many guests and provided countless farm visits. The amount of smiles brought to someone’s face just from petting a pig, horse, cow, and even a turkey, are priceless 💞. We are one of the top AirBnB’s in the area and are holding steady with the Superhost status!

We have dealt with some medical set backs with some cows lately and are SUPER thankful for the wonderful vet care from the Leatherstocking vet clinic!

We are still working on raising turkeys and are waiting on three calves to finish out 2026. It’s been a year! Never a dull moment!

Just a late night feeding with the girls and Fraser. Caught some Fraser and Honey attitude as well, those two are something else together! These cool, quiet, Fall nights sure do bring peace.

Anyone else enjoy the sound of animals chewing but would prefer to strangle a human if they do the same?!

First batch of chickens are almost done and moving along with the turkeys! Tonight’s task was cleaning the horse trailer from the chickens and moving turkeys from their brooder to the trailer where they are kept warm and securely locked away from predators.

Turkey noises are just the best 🥰🥰

So many fantastic names were thrown in the pool for this little monster, most popular being Marshmallow!

Marshmallow was my running buddy this morning. Yup, we went right through four fences like they didn’t even exist and ran through three different pastures before she was caught and carried all the way back to the barn. Who needs a gym when little calves provide some great barnyard Olympics!

Needless to say this little trespasser is now in jail for her crimes 🤪
