Today’s blessings are made even more precious by the memories we carry. This Monday, I’m remembering my beloved daughter, Sammy, whose life and love continue to shape my heart every day.

Losing Sammy taught me that tomorrow is never promised, every moment is a gift, and moving forward does not mean leaving her behind. It means carrying her love, her memory, and the lessons she gave me into every new day. She is not here in the way I wish she were, but she remains forever present in my heart. ❤️

Her memory reminds me to begin each day with GRATITUDE, a peaceful heart, and the COURAGE to keep going—even when the road feels painful or uncertain.

❤️ Happy Heavenly 24th Birthday, Our Beautiful Sammy. ❤️

Today, our hearts are heavy, but they are also filled with love.

24 years ago, God blessed us with a beautiful little girl who would forever change our lives. We never imagined that one day we would be celebrating her birthday without being able to hold her, hug her, or hear her voice.

Our Sammy had a heart for people. She wanted to help, protect, and make a difference in this world. That beautiful, caring heart was one of the reasons she chose to become a United States Marine.

As her father, I carry so many questions that may never have answers. I miss her more than words could ever explain. But one thing I will never question is how blessed I was to be her dad.

Sammy’s life was far too short, but her love was far too powerful to ever disappear.

Today, my beautiful family and I would like to invite our friends, customers, and community to stop by Sammy’s NYSammy’s NY Pizza & Pasta and share a little birthday cake with us in her honor.

Nothing fancy. Nothing big. Just a little cake, a little love, and a chance to remember a beautiful young woman who meant everything to us.

You don’t have to have known Sammy personally. Just come with a kind heart. That’s exactly the kind of person she was.

We named our restaurant after our daughter because although we can no longer hold her hand, we will carry her name, her love, and her memory for the rest of our lives.

Happy Birthday in Heaven, my beautiful girl. Daddy and Mommy love you beyond words, beyond time, and beyond this life.
