The years since the pandemic have been rough for small businesses, and Lexington's 54-year-old indie grocer has certainly seen the worst of it and always manages to pull off the impossible... with help from you the customers!

Do you have any essential tool that is the only thing that can get certain tasks done? Ours is Uncle Mark's 20+ year-old Chicago Cutlery paring knife we use to scrape out all our roaster pipes. Naturally I thought it was ridiculous when first saw it, but as the old saying goes, "if it's stupid and it works it ain't stupid."
