Some people find peace in a quiet house, a clean yard, and a relaxing evening…

Well forget that yellow brick road… around here, we’ve got chickens, turkeys, and emus, OH MY! 🐓🦃🦤😂 Just keep a caffeine handy because this adventure comes with a whole lot of chaos but even more love! 💗⚡🤣

The goats are plotting a prison break, the emus have absolutely ZERO respect for personal space, the chickens are doing chicken things, and I’m pretty sure at least three rabbits are actively conspiring against me. 😂

And honestly? I wouldn’t have it any other way.

Give me the muddy boots, the ridiculous shenanigans, the animals following me around like I’m their personal snack dispenser, and the daily adventures that make absolutely no sense.

Is it chaotic? Absolutely.
Is it exhausting? Sometimes.
Would I trade it for a quiet, predictable life? Not a chance. 🥰

These animals may test my patience, destroy my plans, and keep me on my toes … but they also fill my heart in ways nothing else can

😂🩷 Days like this make me SO thankful my emus love me as much as they do! 🤪

Miss Dina decided to take advantage of the gate lock not clicking completely into place and went on a little adventure outside her pen. 😳😂

I have NO idea how long she had been out, but as soon as she saw me, she came right over. I turned around, completely startled like… 😳

“Well ma’am… you don’t belong out here.” 😂

Thankfully, because this girl is loves attention and pets, she let me walk her right back into her secure area like the world’s biggest, weirdest puppy. 🥹😂🩷

10/10 grateful for friendly emus today.
0/10 grateful for escape artist emus. 🤣

We’ve got a BUSY bunny barn today in the BEST way! 😍

So far, 13 babies have been born today! ❤️

🐰 Eclipse × Salam — 7 babies
🐰 Delilah × Kuki — 6 babies

And we’re not done yet! 👀

🐰 Bluey (× Earl) and Smokey (× Ace) are both due today/tomorrow, so we could have even MORE little ones arriving soon! 🥰

And then there’s our little mystery mama! 😂 One of the Tamuk does, who has only been here for about 3 weeks, started pulling fur today. Since there’s a chance she was bred before she came to us, we went ahead and gave her a nest box just in case! Better safe than sorry! 🐇❤️

Fall baby season is officially underway! 🍂🐰

Stay tuned… I have a feeling the baby count is about to get a LOT higher! 😂❤️

Who wants to take a guess at what species gave us this beautiful, lean red meat? 🧐

This weekend, with Bow's Berry Way we were finally able to get some red meat processed and added to the freezer!

And last night, we got to enjoy the first taste of it—fresh, juicy, moist burgers that were absolutely delicious! 🤤🍔
