Long before logos, advertising campaigns, and social media, ranchers were branding cattle. A simple mark identified where an animal came from and who stood behind it.

Over time, that mark came to represent something more. Reputation. Quality. Accountability. A promise.

Marketing borrowed that same idea because the goal never changed. A brand isn’t just something people recognize. It’s something they trust.

Whether it’s on the open range or in the marketplace, a brand is earned.

As we walked through the rodeo grounds, we asked what being an American means. Every answer seemed to lead back to the same idea.

Freedom.

Freedom to build a life. Freedom to worship. Freedom to work hard. Freedom to raise a family. Freedom to chase your dreams. Freedom to gather with your community and celebrate the traditions that bring us together.

Then the American flag entered the arena.

The conversations shifted from freedom to gratitude. Pride, honor, faith, and deep respect for the veterans and service members whose sacrifices have helped preserve those freedoms for 250 years.

On America’s 250th birthday, we’re reminded that the values that unite us are often greater than the things that divide us.

Happy Independence Day, America.
